Released as a clear lathe cut edition of just 99 copies, the single marks a return to action for Vorderhaus who’s releases on Polytechnic Youth a few years back went down a storm with instant sell outs and 6music plays and repeated “Electronic sound” magazine thumbs’ up. The project of Mark Vorderhaus, (alongside his other guise as one half of Detox Twins); his catchy minimal, synth pop gems sit easily in that key era of 1978-82 in UK electronic music; the sounds of early Mute, Fad Gadget, early Depeche Mode, DAF etc etc immediately spring to mind. This double A side continues that trend, and the single is wrapped up nicely as a numbered limited edition clear lathe cut disk with numbered inserts.
