Description
Jimmy Campbell’s 1970 album Half Baked is British chamber pop at its finest – deeply personal songwriting wrapped in lush orchestration, backed by an all-star Liverpool lineup including Billy Kinsley, Tony Crane, and Badfinger’s Joey Molland. Recorded at Trident Studios with arrangements by Nick Ryan and Donald Fraser, the album moves from Spector- influenced rock to tender balladry, culminating in the Brel-like epic Don’t Leave Me Now. Long championed as a lost masterpiece, this reissue features an exclusive Prof. Stoned remaster, eight bonus tracks including previously unreleased radio sessions, and a 20-page booklet with new liner notes.
