Rodrigo Leo had just released his album O M|todo when the Covid-19 pandemic hit and the lockdown required him to stay at home in the beautiful region of Alentejo. Through the months he spent among the nature new music started to appear. All this work is now brought together in A Liberdade, an unplanned trilogy of records made before, during and after the lockdowns. Before: O M|todo, the album he released just before the first wave. During: Avis 2020, an EP recorded entirely on his own, at home, and released digitally during the lockdown. After: A Estranha Beleza da Vida, a new disc of original material recorded over the past few months and due for release in October. This trilogy will be the basis for Rodrigo Leo’s long-awaited return to the stage.
