Rooted in memory, family, ambition, triumph, struggle, and a lifelong passion for music, the album takes listeners on an emotional journey through Dave’s life, from his early days dreaming of becoming a musician to global success with Slade. Dirty Foot Lane features powerful tracks inspired by live performance, mental health, lockdown, family, resilience, and reflection — all tied together by the title track that Dave describes as: “My story — my family, my home, my journey.” Produced alongside Django Holder, with contributions from long- time collaborator John Berry and producer Rob Childs, this is Dave Hill like you’ve never heard him before.
